Hi guys, want to give you guys an update on my recent trip to the Milwaukee Train fest. This is one of the largest train shows in the country where manufacturers from all over the country come to show off there new models, and train clubs come to display there layouts. This Trainfest was held on November 23rd-24th at the Barid center in Milwaukee. When I first walked in I was astonished by how many booths in this huge room. Many of my favorite manufacturers were there, such as, Athearn, Bachmann, Atlas, Walthers, Soundtraxx, Scaletrains, Broadway Limited Imports, and many more. There were also many operating displays from many clubs around the country from Z to G scale. There was even a layout where you could run a train yourself and you would have to follow certain signals to have a smooth run around. There was a huge N scale layout that took up a lot of room and was very intricate. This train show also had some vendors selling trains, and I may have bought something…(I’ll reavel what it is at the end) . This train show was whole lot of fun, and would totally recommend going yourself next year!!! And as always make sure to check out the photos and see you guys in the next one!!!! Wait one last thing, drumroll please!! The train I bought at the train show was…… a Athearn Gensis BNSF SD70ACE!!! I’ll make sure to give you guys a full review in a little bit.
